Who is Richard C. Silverio
I am a versatile technologist with comprehensive expertise across the entire web development lifecycle, including project management, web design, implementation, quality assurance, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. Throughout my career, I have successfully managed, designed, and developed websites, content management systems (CMS), e-commerce platforms, online promotional materials, and email marketing campaigns.
With a strong focus and passion for front-end development, I specialize in crafting intuitive user experiences with extensive experience in HTML, CSS (including SASS), and JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery and YUI. Additionally, I have a solid background in server-side technologies, including ASP.NET, Classic ASP, and JSP.
I thrive in Agile and Scrum development environments, bringing a collaborative and iterative approach to delivering high-quality solutions that meet evolving business needs.
As an archer, my journey began on March 3, 2018. My first cousin suggested I try archery, a sport I had no interest in at the time, as I was more into firearms. However, after he asked me to give it a try for his birthday, I decided to go for it. Little did I know, I would fall in love with archery and eventually become addicted to it.
Initially, I treated it as a hobby. But soon, my daughters expressed interest in trying it too, joining me during practice sessions when they were just getting bored watching me. After receiving training from coaches who did not believed in the NTS (National Training System) shot process, I decided to learn the NTS myself and even became a certified USA Archery Coach. I then trained my daughters, and the three of us became competitive archers.
Today, as a USA Archery Certified Level 3 Coach, I continue to work with children ages 8 to 20 through the J.O.A.D. (Junior Olympic Archery Development) program. I collaborate with the City of Santa Clarita and also run a club with USA Archery Certified Level 4 Coach Rene Paguia, who has developed archers up to the Olympic level.
