Let's Get Personal

I was born on January 8, 1975, in Makati City, Philippines, to Armi Barbara Crespo, former Ms. Philippines 1972, and the late Ricardo Cruz Silverio, an entrepreneur and politician. My early education began at Casa Montessori in Forbes Park, Philippines. I attended grade school and high school at La Salle Green Hills, completing my sophomore year there before a life-changing move.

On May 10, 1991, I migrated to the United States to join my mother, who had relocated in 1988. I settled in Chatsworth, California, where I completed my last two years of high school at Chatsworth High School, graduating with honors in 1993. I then pursued higher education at Loyola Marymount University in West Los Angeles, earning a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on international business and marketing on May 17, 1997.

After college, I began my career as a web developer at Digital Genesis, a company in Santa Monica. During my time there, I honed my skills in creating both static and dynamic websites. Over the years, I held various roles, including web development manager and technical project manager, working for esteemed companies such as US Web/CKS, Tribune, Kaiser Permanente, Disney Internet Group, and most recently, Guitar Center, where I served as Senior Manager of eCommerce Platform Content. I take immense pride in my work and continuously stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in web development.

Today, I am blessed with two beautiful daughters, Cassandra Megan, born on July 11, 2011, and Chloe Francesca, born on December 14, 2013. We’ve been living in Santa Clarita, California, since November 1, 2013, where I continue to build a wonderful life with my family.

Although I’ve lived in the United States for many years, I’ve never forgotten my Filipino roots. Deep inside, I remain the same family-oriented, kind-hearted Filipino man I’ve always been, with a modern twist. I value loyalty and cherish friendships, whether past, present, or future.

My passions include archery, traveling, snowboarding, DJing, and target practice. I also enjoy going to Disneyland, watching NBA, boxing, and WWE events (both televised and live), attending movies, theatrical plays, and concerts, and spending time at the beach. I’m a proud member of the NRA and love meeting new people and building lasting friendships. Most importantly, I treasure quality time with my family above all.

At the heart of my life is my faith in God, followed closely by my love for my family and friends. My daughters are my greatest source of joy and motivation, and they inspire me every day.
